How to Beat the Odds at Roulette

Roulette is a game of pure chance. It is mathematically impossible to beat the odds with a betting system.

You place your chips on a section of the table until the croupier (the dealer) says, “no more bets.” Each player gets a color of chip to designate their denomination.

You can make inside bets on individual numbers or small groups of numbers. Outside bets are placed on categories of numbers (like red or black, odd or even) or big groups of numbers.

Strategy

This roulette strategy is similar to a reverse Martingale, and it can help you make some modest profits. The principle is that you subtract a unit from your initial bet when you win, and add it when you lose. In this way, you can eventually recover all your lost units and then begin to earn a modest profit. However, chasing losses is never a good idea, whatever game you play. You can lose big, fast.
